This excursion is recommended to anyone who wants to get off resort for a day and explore the beautiful countryside while in the Dominican Republic. Get ready to explore breathtaking places and see nature up-close while you venture into sugar cane fields, coffee and cocoa plantations on an adventurous safari truck. Lush tropical forests and jungle-covered mountains will make you feel like Indiana Jones! You will learn all about Dominican culture and customs directly from the local farmers.
Enjoy traveling on rural roads where you can appreciate all the hidden treasures that this wonderful Island has to offer. The open-air truck ride provided a unique opportunity to see the “real” Dominican Republic, as you drive through villages and farmlands. Visit a sponsored school (depending on the time of the year), learn the Dominican educational program and help the children receive a better education. Learn about the Dominican coffee and cocoa and see hoe they are are made.

Visit a cocoa and sugar cane plantationand see a typical Dominican home and how the local people live, and enjoy a delicious lunch at the ranch around the Anamuya mountains. Have fun horseback riding and finish the day at the beautiful beach of Macao.
